NYC Judge Fines Trump $9,000 for Violating Gag Order and Threatens Jail Tim

Former President Donald Trump was fined $9,000 for supposedly violating the gag order imposed on him by New York Judge Merchan in the ridiculous hush-money trial.

Trump immediately took to Truth Social where he tore into Judge Merchan, saying he is extremely “CONFLICTED” and the entire trial is “crooked.” The former president insisted that the trial is a sham and 100% is election interference by not allowing him to campaign and keeping him silent.

The New York judge not only fined Trump for violating the gag order nine times but then went on to threaten him with jail time.

Judge Merchan’s ruling stated, “THEREFORE, Defendant is hereby warned that the Court will not tolerate continued willful violations of its lawful orders and that if necessary and appropriate under the circumstances, it will impose an incarceratory punishment.”

The gag order does not cover Judge Merchan, so Trump let him have it on Truth Social.

“This Judge has taken away my Constitutional Right to FREE SPEECH.  I am the only Presidential Candidate in History to be GAGGED. This whole ‘Trial’ is RIGGED, and by taking away my FREEDOM OF SPEECH, THIS HIGHLY CONFLICTED JUDGE IS RIGGING THE PRESIDENTIAL OF 2024 ELECTION. ELECTION INTERFERENCE!!!”

Trump then claimed that Judge Merchan is only doing what his “friends” want him to do and is not following the law.

“This is a total Witch Hunt. Hours of sitting down and listening to nothing except EXONERATION AND LIES,” Trump said on Truth Social. “The Trial is going like a speeding bullet, because the Judge is working hard to make all of his friends happy. Merchan is Rigged, Crooked, and, above all, and without question, CONFLICTED. It’s a disgrace to our Country — They’ve taken away my Right to Free Speech. ELECTION INTERFERENCE!!!”

Trump believes this trial is an intentional effort by the Democrats to keep him from campaigning and that the real criminals are President Biden and the Biden family business.
